Conduct Code Violations
Any applicant not meeting an automatic qualifier or priority level is welcome to apply ‘at-large’. Please register, and you will be placed on the pending list. Should 90 qualified applicants not be available, at-large spots will be awarded based on a composite ranking of select ranking systems.
Acceptance Timeline
Applications must be submitted by July 20, 2026. Players meeting an exemption criterion will be admitted after registering (unless the field is full). Earning an invitation does not guarantee acceptance. Assuming more than 90 applicants have been submitted as of July 20th, selections will be made by the Committee using exemption criteria, rankings, qualifiers and tournament results. Should withdrawals occur, players on the pending list will be added.
Violations
Any Code of Conduct violation will result in a written letter to the player and his or her parent/guardian. The HVJI Tournament Committee may assess any or all of the following penalties based on severity and frequency of the violation(s):
1. One-stroke penalty for each act of unsportsmanlike behavior on the golf course
2. Immediate disqualification from the tournament at which the violation occurs
3. Depending on the severity of the violation, a tournament disqualification may also result in disqualification from the next year(s) event.
